Literature Text

Sweet notes fill mine ear,
And leads me to a cove.

Crystal clear blue,
Trickles down the grey rocks ,
Twinkling before they hit the mass.

The song grows louder, clear, sultry,
A woman on a reef,
Hair lustrous and length,
With her arms open wide,
Now singing mine name.

Alas, get too close,
My demise comes near.

A siren's song,
Is like Pandora's Box,
With a bitter sweet tune.
A poem I wrote for my Advanced Creative Writings - Poetry class.
I love this class and I've recently wrote a number of poems that I'm quite proud of! Expect much more to come. My writers side is inspired.

Feedback would be great as well!
